However, in the 1920s, the artist's preferences changed dramatically, and Domergue began to paint beautiful Parisian women, revealing to the world the image of a flirtatious and elegant Frenchwoman.
Moreover, he is considered to be the creator of the pin-up style, as often famous ballerinas and actresses in semi-nude and playful poses flaunted in portraits at that time.
