Rural disco in Spanish
Categories: Europe | Photo project
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/rural-disco-in-spanish.htmlSpanish photographer Jesus Madrigan photographed young people who are having fun in nightclubs located in the countryside of Spanish Galicia.
His photo project is called "Good Night" and is dedicated to the duality of the nightclub scene: young people are coming off with might and main, feeling fashionable and glamorous, although the windows of the club are still the same native village, and not Madrid or Barcelona.
Often, in the background of the pictures, you can see the fun going on, while the viewer is trying to find clues about who these people are when the sun rises. This dual world paints the surreal reality of the club scene, but at the same time reminds where these hangouts actually take place. Dawn comes, and these young people disperse to their small homes in an area where everyone knows each other... until the next such night of "separation" comes.
