Photos of this spectacular place, you may have seen scattered on the net without captions. It doesn't look like a miracle of nature, but it looks impressive! It turns out that this is not a gateway to the underworld, but just a funnel-shaped weir on the Ladybower reservoir in the English county of Derbyshire. The spillway of this form is not the only one in the world, but it is the largest.
