It's no secret that modern stars sometimes use a phonogram or a special vocal processing-autotune to improve the sound of their voice. But, it turns out, some artists of the 90s went further – other people sang instead of them at all! And we're willing to bet that you've heard their songs, too.

In the late 90s, the HI‑FI group was wildly popular, and its lead singer Mitya Fomin was the object of admiration of many women. Especially the ladies liked his voice – unusual, memorable… I wonder if they would be just as happy if they found out that their main favorite was "voiced" by another person?

One of the founders of the group, composer Pavel Yesenin, was responsible for the vocal accompaniment of the star trio. He also composed well-known hits. And Fomin and his colleagues only presented them to the public. Although, according to the artist, all these years he really wanted to sing, but the producer did not like the young man's voice right away. Only when he left the band and began a solo career, Fomin was able to perform songs on stage himself.

Well, who does not remember the animated girl from the 2000s, who sang in a peculiar voice about snow? Once Alla Pugacheva admitted that one of her favorite songs is the hit of the Rock Atelier group "Night Rendezvous" performed by Chris Kelmi. I would not like to upset Alla Borisovna, but the long-haired blonde has nothing to do with this song. The author of the famous composition was Vadim Uslanov. He also voiced the soundtrack, to which Chris Kelmi then simply opened his mouth…

After this fact became widely known, Kelmi began to perform "Night Rendezvous" on his own. But, as they say, the Internet remembers everything, and an unpleasant aftertaste still remained.

Do you think any of the modern stars use someone else's voice in their songs?
