Parallel Worlds

1. "Atmospheres".

Michal Karch is a Polish artist and graphic designer. His works, inspired by music, cinema, and literature, are the author's escape from reality into the world of dreams, desires, ideas, and fears. The inspiration for this work was the electronic music of Rudy Adrian from New Zealand. (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds

2. "Babel".

The author of a series of works entitled "Parallel Worlds" writes that the creation of these images was greatly influenced by music, which is an integral part of his creative process. According to him, these photographs are graphic images of various pieces of music. The inspiration for the creation of this work was the music of the British pioneer in the dark ambient genre - Brian Williams - his pseudonym "Lustmord". (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds

3. “Little knowledge”.

Although the works presented mainly show non-existent places, some of which may seem familiar, for example, resemble the landscapes described in the books of Tolkien or Stephen King. The uniqueness of Michal's works lies, in his words, in the fact that each viewer can have their own associations. This illustration was inspired by the Swedish music project Simona Heatha - Atrium Carceri. (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds

4. "Faces of War II".

Michal Karch started photography in the early 90s. However, his passion became the creation of illustrations by combining photographs and paintings. The inspiration for this work was, as the author himself writes, "our current turbulent times." (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds

5. "End of the world."

Digital photography and software-enabled the author, he said, to create a unique reality that would not have been possible with traditional photography techniques. The work was inspired by the music of Steve Roach, an American multi-instrumentalist and pioneer of ambient music. (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds

6. “Infinite depth”.

Michal Karch believes that it was the positive reviews and comments of admirers of his art that helped him understand that he had chosen the right way to perform them. A musical project by Swedish artist Simona Heatha - Atrium Carceri - inspired this photograph. (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds

7. "Everything must perish."

The recognition of the audience, according to Michal, “... gave me the opportunity to show and share my world with others. Every day I see and learn something new. This is what I love, and of course I haven't had my last word yet. " (Photo: Michał Karcz).

Parallel Worlds
