Nymphs of Neringa Recashute

Lithuanian photographer Neringa Rekašiute is known as the author of numerous projects dedicated to the protection of women's rights and feminism. But sometimes she still distracts from socially important work and creates beautiful and tender pictures dedicated to the beauty of the female body. The series of works "Nymphs" is an erotic fantasy of the author, praising nature and woman as her most beautiful creation. (Careful! Nude).

For the project "Nymphs" Neringa Recashute chose young models with an ideal body. This is not the usual approach for a Lithuanian photographer. Usually she tries to destroy the stereotype that shows a woman as a sexual object promoted by media culture.

But on the other hand, the images of girls in different natural landscapes are so gentle and harmonious that they do not cause any rude emotions. They, as befits real nymphs, are inseparable from their environment and are simply not perceived as sexual objects. This opens up another facet of the talent of a wonderful photographer.
