Now a pet can become not only a silent listener and observer, but also an active participant in a feast with a bottle of wine. A wine producer from the USA took care of the cats and came up with a special wine for them.

Apollo Peak company from Denver, Colorado, is the author of cat wine, "a soft drink for cats based on catnip." The wine is presented in two types — "Pinot Meow" (Pinot Meow) and "MusCOTo" (MosCATo).
It all started with a joke in the company of friends, but has already turned into the most serious and very successful business, headed by Brandon Zavala, a cat lover and founder of Apollo Peak.
"I initially perceived this idea as a joke among friends. I just pasted a label with "Pinot meow" on a bottle of ordinary wine, and from this came the idea to do something for cats," says the founder of the project. "I've heard something about this before, but then cat wine wasn't sold in the U.S. or anywhere else," says Brandon Zavala.
The wine is made from three ingredients — water, natural catnip (catnip) and beetroot, which are purchased from local farmers in Colorado. Zavala began work on the first bottle of cat wine in November 2015. Later, two friends joined him, resulting in the company Apollo Peak.
At first, wine for cats was sold only in Denver, and now it is delivered worldwide through an online store, and the demand for it is only growing. "I started inventing a drink on my own, and it took about six months for it to retain its color, consistency and look like wine. I have worked with pet products before and have always understood the pet products market. It seemed to me that it was time to launch cat wine," says the founder of the company.
Dog owners should not despair — soon Apollo Peak plans to release wine for dogs, because the response to cat wine turned out to be very positive.
