2. The 93 artworks, especially those representing trees, are designed to attract the attention of marine life and will develop organically. Some tree forms float just below the surface, creating a suitable substrate for marine life at all levels.

3. Jason deCaires Taylor's work is part of the eco-art movement, in which artwork interacts with its environment in unpredictable ways. Eventually, the work of nature will supplant the work of the artist—and provide food and shelter for many creatures.

4. Marine life in the Mediterranean has been seriously depleted over the past 20 years, and work is being done to highlight the need to restore our oceans. Children are shown playing in the woods, aiming cameras at humanity in the hope of a future where the magic of nature will return.

5. The museum is located in a marine protected area about 200 meters from Pernera Beach and at a depth of eight to 10 meters, so it is accessible to snorkelers, scuba divers, and free divers.
