It is located 5 km east of Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida. It is also the largest artificial reef in the world, covering 65,000 sq.m. at the bottom of the ocean at a depth of 12 meters.

1. Instead of waving the ashes of their loved ones over the ocean, Americans can now “lay” them in the Neptune Memorial Reef, where the ashes are mixed with cement created for underwater use, which is then added to the reef.
