Baby Guiteau was discovered British International service animal rescue in West Borneo. Orangutan lying in a box in almost mummified condition and showed no signs of life. Guiteau was immediately sent to hospital for emergency treatment. The vets gave him fluids and rubbed his painful and itchy skin coconut oil to relieve suffering.

But after two months the international animal rescue service has published photographs in which Guiteau is noticeable on the mend. His skin was much smoother, and despite the fact that while it is less hairy than the orangutans befitting his age, he is on his way to recovery.
