Memories that make you cry

Photographer Georges Pacheco makes people cry for the sake of art. In 2005 and 2006, he was invited to his Studio completely unknown people who agreed to surrender the saddest memories in his life before the lens. Thus was born the project "Tears of memories". At its creation took a lot of time: first, to find volunteers was not so easy; secondly, the author was not confident that they will be able to cry.

Before you engage in the art of photography, Pacheco studied the psychology of perception and psychology of the impact of art on people. With this project he wanted "to determine whether the person is to dig in my own memory and personal history that will make him cry". "No matter how many years a person is 8 or 70, I wonder what was the most critical moment in his life and will remember if he about it to trigger these strong emotions?"

Pacheco asked his models to remember what could cause tears, and then left them alone with the camera so they could remotely press the shutter button. Then he returned and asked what memories are aroused these emotions.
