She grew up on a small farm in Vermont. From early childhood, the girl was different from her peers, so it's not surprising that she was teased at school. Over time, she began to use a non-standard appearance for her own good, realizing her own uniqueness. "I wasn't really worried about it. I just thought I was destined to be born that way." Most of her classmates at that time could now envy the career that Rain managed to build.

Rain Dove has a really strong masculine beginning: before she got into the modeling business, she was a locksmith and a firefighter. "When I worked as a firefighter, all my colleagues were sure that I was a man," says Rain. — I agreed to this because I really needed a job, I was in the wilderness of Colorado. Therefore, I used the flexibility of my gender, thanks to which I gained experience in very different fields: from a nanny to a specialist in landscape architecture."

"If I present myself as a woman, then the clothes I wear become feminine, regardless of what label the manufacturer has attached to it. If I appear in a male image, things become masculine the minute they touch my body. If I call myself an alien, the clothes will become alien simply because I put them on. We decide who to be," explains Rain Dove and agitates others to fight for gender diversity.

Rain shared her opinion about self-determination with journalists: "We are all fighting to be unique. And the best thing we can do is to become ourselves. Gender is a category that doesn't really exist. This is a social concept that we don't have to conform to. There are people who love you. There are people who will love you. There are people who will accept you, and I am one of them."
