By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/magnificent-close-up-of-shikhei-go.htmlA young and very talented photographer, Shikhei Goh is so passionate about macro photography that he even jokingly calls himself a macro addict. Shikhei Go was born on the Indonesian island of Dabo Singkep, belonging to the Riau Islands group. And today he lives on the island of Batam, which lies just 20 km from Singapore. By boat, this distance is covered by local residents in 45 minutes. Luxurious tropical nature generously supplies the artist with magnificent models. Amazing insects, spiders, geckos, frogs, snakes and other inhabitants of tropical islands fall into the lens of the photographer. Huge portraits of all these colorful living creatures regularly win all sorts of competitions and have been repeatedly chosen as National Geographic magazine's pictures of the week. The photographer's favorite equipment is the Canon EOS 7D, 100mm L series macro lens, MPE 65mm, Twinlight and Raynox DCR 250. This technique allows you to create detailed portraits of even those creatures that are barely visible to the naked eye.
