By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/james-bond-who-is-the-best-agent-007.htmlIn this list, we decided to recall all the actors who played the famous agent 007, and decide which of them can be considered the best. All names in this list are in ascending order. Accordingly, the best is the latest. And yet, whoever plays Her Majesty's outstanding spy, it can be said that James Bond is one of the most beloved and interesting heroes of the big screen.

1. George Lazenby.
This Australian has always been somehow paradoxical. On the one hand, his role as James Bond in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service remains one of the most exciting. But this is thanks to the incredible story, interesting filming by director Peter Hunt and, of course, the amazing Bond girl played by Diana Rigg. Lazenby himself looked good in shirt and tuxedo, had a certain amount of athleticism, and played the last scene with amazing tenderness. But otherwise, George seemed like a rather unfortunate replacement for the true Bond. (REX FEATURES)
2. Timothy Dalton
Dalton was too surly. An acclaimed classic actor, he played Bond in the mid to late 80s, when the demands on acting were especially high. As a result, his Bond turned out to be more funny than serious ... despite all Dalton's sullenness ... (REX FEATURES)
3. All this seriousness did not help Dalton. While The Lights Out of Your Eyes (1987) and License to Kill (1989) did have some truly spectacular scenes, the Welshman himself looked rather...out of place for the part. (REX FEATURES)
4. Pierce Brosnan
Brosnan was always an attractive guy, with a velvety voice and sparkling eyes, but there were two special things about him that played against him. First, if Dalton was too serious, then this Irish actor was too cute: aside from a weird moment in the 1995 film Goldeneye, he never had an advantage. Bond is not a vanilla guy. He is (as Connery, Craig and Moore rightly realized) pretty tough. And Brosnan, for all his charm, has always seemed too soft for the part. (REX)
5. Brosnan also fell victim to what today is known as the “unwatched movie chain.” His failures culminated in the 2002 film Die Another Day (above). Connery would have looked more worthy in these life-and-death missions. (REX)
6. Daniel Craig
He's way too small! Too blonde! What were they thinking? In 2005, the Internet exploded with outrage when the role of agent 007 was decided to take the Englishman Daniel Craig. But Craig had the last laugh. It looks like one of the best actors who has ever played Bond. His performance is quite convincing and believable. His Bond really seems real. (SONY PICTURES)
7. The fact that Craig is built like an Olympian, that he seems rather tough and, according to most women, sexually attractive, once again helped him get used to the role of Bond. By the mid-2000s, Bond seemed "dead", the franchise was frankly limping on both legs, but Craig managed to revive it. However, the producers need to be more careful - you should not make a shameless beast out of Bond-Craig. Unsentimental toughness is one thing, but dumping your friend Mathis in the trash in Quantum of Solace is somehow completely ... not human. (Jay Maidment)
8. Roger Moore
Second place? Oh yeah! Of course, many people love this good old Bond. And yet… by the time Moore took on the role of Bond in 1973 (“Live and Let Die”), Connery had been playing the role well for a decade. He was the real Bond. However, Moore not only fit perfectly into the role and added his own character to 007, but also had a fantastic success. (AP)
9. However, Moore's films - in particular the first four - despite being among the most helpless, remain incredibly interesting and beloved by the viewer. Yes, by 1985 (A View to a Kill), Moore's Bond looked more like an overfed broker than a slender but stern killing machine. But for the sake of the actor's merits in the earlier films of the series, you can forgive him for this. (REX)
10. Sean Connery
Connery is perhaps the only one who truly deserves this role. Producers Albert Broccoli and Harry Saltzman's decision to cast the former bodybuilder as 007 was fatal in a good way. They realized that if you add some polish to this handsome Scot who also moves like a panther, then they will get exactly the kind of Bond that the whole world will love. (REX)
11. Daniel Craig's Bond is believable, Roger Moore's is funny. But for the confidence, the exceptional "male" voice, the amazing figure and body language, as well as for the masterful acting in some scenes (in particular, in the film "From Russia with Love"), Sean Connery deserves the first place in this list.
