The girl put on a swimsuit and calmed herself with thoughts that ice water would help get rid of muscle pain, speed up metabolism and improve sleep.
Lady Gaga is not the only one who takes ice baths. The invigorating procedure is performed by Madonna, boxer Anthony Joshua and Victoria's Secret model Lais Ribeiro.
Journalist Yasmin added 10 large buckets of cold water and 12,000 ice cubes to the bath. The temperature was only 10 degrees Celsius. The brave girl took a deep breath and plunged into the icy font up to her neck. The cold literally took her breath away. My body was instantly numb.
The journalist tried to convince herself that the painful procedure would benefit her, but she could not stand even a minute. After Yasmin jumped out of the bath, she felt needles all over her body. The legs seemed to have turned into two icebergs. With each step, there was an impression that an electric current was running through the body.
Nevertheless, the shocking recharge cheered up the journalist. Her mood lifted, and 40 minutes after the dive, she felt relaxed and wanted to sleep. The sleep was really strong, and in the morning Yasmin woke up fresh and rested.
