Photographer Michel Sank says: “These photos are from my project called In my Skin. It is dedicated to young Britons under the age of 25 who challenge their appearance. I am looking for those who have already experienced or are just preparing for plastic surgery or other body transformations in order to accept themselves and achieve their ideal of beauty. Today, public opinion in Western countries is especially focused on physical beauty and achieving the "perfect" face and body. In the same project, one can see body dysmorphism, when due to the desire for beauty, young people have nutritional problems or body changes. And, finally, my project is dedicated to the struggle of young people with their own body, in which they were born, but which they do not like.
