If customers could comment on works of art
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/if-customers-could-comment-on-works-of-art1.htmlThe famous illustrator Favorsky, when working on illustrations for books, always drew a dog in the corner. When the editor began to resent why the dog was depicted in the drawing, the artist began to prove with foam at the mouth that the dog in the drawing was necessary. As a result, the artist gave up, the dog was removed from the image and the satisfied editor gave the drawing to print. And when the artist was asked why he paints this dog everywhere, he replied: "If there were no dog, he would find fault with something else!.."
We decided to imagine a situation when famous works of art decorating the walls of world museums and private collections became the subject of comments from modern customers.
Sandro Botticelli "The Birth of Venus"
Jan van Eyck "Portrait of the Arnolfini couple"
Karl Bryullov "The Horsewoman"
Michelangelo "The Creation of Adam"
Leonardo yes Vinci "The Lady with the ermine"
