HUAWEI announces the results of the competition Next-2020 Image Awards in Russia

Russia completed the international competition Next-Image Awards 2020. NEXT-IMAGE is the world's largest competition for mobile photography and videos created using mobile devices HUAWEI. Last year it was attended by 520 000 people. This year the competition was held in Russia, where HUAWEI has received more than 20,000 photos that were taken using different models of smartphones. In the selection of the best works of the Russian contestants participated by an independent jury consisting of professional photographers of Russia.

According to the rules of the competition were selected the best 20 works, the four images in five categories. Photos of the winners was made not only for the new models, but on earlier models. In the first stage, one winner in each category received flagship smartphone HUAWEI P40 Pro and three winners — HUAWEI wireless headphones FreeBuds 3.

In addition, all 20 pictures were sent to the Committee Next-Image to participate in the final stage of the global competition, the main prize of which is $ 10,000 and smartphone HUAWEI P40 Pro. The winners of the final stage of the competition will determine the world's leading experts in the field of photography, including Steve McCurry, Elizabeth Borodina, Reuben Krabbe and Caroline Henke, as well as the global brand Director of HUAWEI CBG Andrew Garrihy and Vice-Minister of marketing Department of consumer strategy HUAWEI CBG Li Changzhi. The final stage of the competition will be held in September 2020.
