How women live in South Korea

South Korea is ranked 108th in the Global Gender Gap Index. The ban on abortion here was declared illegal only in 2021.

Wages for women are on average 35% lower than for men. And out of 500 companies, only 3% of Korean women hold leadership positions. If a woman receives a high position in a prestigious company, this is a whole event for the country.
