PictolicIt often turns out that old unnecessary things leave to live out their days in the country. On these six acres, chairs finally crumble, clothes and shoes burn in the fire, chests gather dust in the attic. Today we will tell you how to give a second life to old things by making a beautiful and unusual flower bed out of them!
1. Some flowers overwinter in the apartment and only in summer "move" to the country. It is not necessary to plant them in the open ground. Leave the flowers right in the drawer, so that with the onset of autumn you can simply move them back into the house.
2. The box with plants can be used as a flower bed for vertical gardening. Succulents or any ampel (hanging) plants will feel great here. You can hang the box on the fence, the wall of the house or any vertical surface.
3. Small boxes left over from old bedside tables, tables, dressers and so on can be beautifully arranged in a suburban area by organizing a small flower bed. The drawers themselves and the handles on them may differ in shape, size, color, style. In this case, flowers are able to harmoniously combine all these things.
4. The seat upholstery of the old chair can be replaced with a new one. Or you can instead take out the springs and excess fabric and plant flowers. The chair will naturally lose its main purpose, but it will delight others with fresh greenery.
5. Sometimes even such an unnecessary thing as old shoes can be useful. You can plant flowers there, and then hang shoes by laces or special loops. The older the shoes, the better, because water will not stagnate in leaky "flower beds"!
6. An old metal cage, which is lying around in the attic, can be an excellent flowerbed for your plot. Plant flowers there that will beautifully go down between the thin bars of the cage. Hang such a cage to the ceiling of the gazebo or to a tree branch.
7. Another interesting option of a mini-flower bed is a small garden right in a glass bottle! Such an unusual use of wine bottles will no doubt surprise the guests of your garden. The main thing is not to cut yourself by separating the glass bottom.
8. A small but extremely useful flower bed can be made from a piece of old burlap. Attach a small ribbon to the bag and hang it on a nail next to the outdoor table. In such a flowerbed, you can grow not only flowers, but also fragrant herbs, which are convenient to add from the "garden" directly into tea.
9. You can also adapt such objects that lie directly under the open sky for a flower bed. For example, a log of a long-felled tree. Cut a small depression along the entire length of the trunk and plant your favorite flowers there.
10. If there is a stump left from a felled tree that you did not dare to uproot, you can arrange an excellent flower bed on it! Use a wire to attach pots with plants to the tree. Try to choose flowers with beautiful flowing shoots that decorate the pots.
11. There are a lot of old pipes in every dacha. Take pipes of different heights (or cut them yourself into the desired segments) and arrange them at your discretion.
12. This flower path is like a milky river that poured out of a can! In creating such a flowerbed, the main thing is a solid green background.
13. The old shabby bath is the place in the country! It can be used not only as a water tank for watering plants, but also as a real flower bed!
14. It is not necessary to throw out the cart if it has already failed. It can be painted, filled with flowers and put in the most beautiful place of your garden!
15. If an old bicycle no longer serves as a means of transportation, make it the main highlight of your garden! Paint it in a bright color, and put a box with flowers in place of the trunk.
16. This is not just a flower bed, but a whole composition! Experiment with different old tools by adding them to the colors. You will be surprised how harmoniously they fit into this picture.
17. Even an old boat can be converted into a flower bed. A little fresh paint and bright flowers will help it look great on your site.
18. As a flowerbed, old huge stone vases will look great. And if the history of your site is not so ancient, instead of a stone vase, take a large clay pot that has lain in the open for several seasons.
19. The mailbox at the dacha is unlikely to be useful to you, but do not rush to remove it. Such a box can decorate any gate!
20. This bed is not just a flowerbed, but a real flower garden. And together with a chest of drawers and a mosaic floor, they form a whole floral interior! Do not limit your imagination, and your garden will become a real work of art!
