Parisian women of all ages and professions pose in their apartments surrounded by personal belongings. The photographer is convinced that the home environment is the best place for a portrait, since the objects spread out throughout the room are an important part of the composition, giving more information about the person in the frame.
Baudouin is a portrait painter of the society. Born in 1977 in Reims. Specializes in editorial and advertising photography. For six years, in his spare time from commercial shooting, he was looking for interesting models and went into apartments that he had not seen before, where surprises were waiting for him, both pleasant and not so much. Baudouin wanted to find a variety of settings and types. Therefore, out of the captured 300 ladies, I chose only 75 for the book.
In Baudouin's "75 Parisians", residents of the French capital of all ages and professions pose in their apartments surrounded by personal belongings. The photographer is convinced that the home environment is the best place for a portrait, since the objects spread out throughout the room are an important part of the composition, giving more information about the person in the frame.
Sitting, standing or lying down-all the Parisian women were photographed in a personal environment, where the attention of the observant Baudouin was attracted to a lot of details that speak about his heroines no less than their facial expressions.
The careful arrangement of the composition and the constant shade of eccentricity were preserved throughout the project. Other works by Baudouin can be found on his website and on Instagram.
