If you have ever traveled along the Yaroslavl Highway, you probably could not help but notice at the 106th kilometer a furnished dwelling with a tent that looks like an Indian wigwam (in fact, this is a tipi). Next to the tipi there is a dugout in which Yuri lives, who became a hermit several years ago.

3. Quite a long time ago, Yuri quit his job as a lawyer in Moscow and, due to life circumstances, moved to live on the side of the Yaroslavl highway. Since then, he has always been glad to have guests who come to him without ceasing.

4. Tipi was the first dwelling of Yuri on the 106th kilometer. The very first tipi burned down in January 2012, six months after Yuriy moved to the place. Then there was a straw house, but it has not survived to this day.

5. Today Yuri lives in a dugout. It looks a bit like hobbit houses. An audiobook plays from the speaker on the roof when guests arrive.

6. The owner is very friendly. Treats all guests with green tea and aromatic coffee.

11. During the visit, Yuri was visited by Peter, who maintains the project's Facebook page. On the wall is a portrait of Chekhov and a photograph of old Kostroma.

12. Yuri came up with a new travel format: “Let it not be me who will move past everything, but let everything move past me. I will sit down, and let the whole world go,” he says.
