Fritz Haarmann-vampire killer, lover of sausages with human flesh

His victims were young men, as he had no respect for women. And this is good — because in the opposite case, the number of people killed by the monster would increase several times.
Haarmann met his first victim just on the street. It was a seventeen-year-old boy named Friedel Rothe, whom the killer had invited to live with him. The boy before his death managed to send a letter to his mother, where he said that he had settled with a good man at "such and such an address". It happened in 1918, and no one knew that Fritz was an irrepressible psychopath.
This little boy ran away from home without telling anyone and went to Hanover (Haarmann's hometown). My mother was looking for Friedel, even though she didn't like that he was attracted to men. And in this city, most of the gay people in Germany gathered.
As soon as the boy's mother received the letter, she went to the police station and the officers of this station went in search of the woman's son directly to Haarman. Once at his house, the police saw a mountain of meat, which Fritz called beef. No one would have thought that it was a butchered Rote, and that his head was lying right behind the window curtain.
After a short period of time, Fritz was arrested for indecent behavior and for molesting young guys, offering them sexual relations. When the killer finally got his desired freedom after a short incarceration, he came to the conclusion that it would be necessary to establish contacts with the police, and in general — to be careful.
His army background helped Haarmann become a freelance police department employee. Using this position, the man often went to the Central station of the city to look for victims. Almost all of them were homeless boys from 13 to 20 years old. Due to their social status, no one was particularly looking for them.
The station was considered a dangerous place, especially in the dark. But since Haarmann was a police officer, he had no problem getting there. There he also picked up his future lovers and victims.
After showing the most unfortunate-looking tramp his police badge, Fritz suggested that he take up residence in a butcher shop. Almost all the beggar boys agreed to this proposal.
After a few days, the man bred them for sexual perversions. The victims were not particularly indignant — the maniac had the ability to choose gay men for his pleasures. After some time, the monster killed them, strangling them until they lost consciousness and then gnawing the throat of a still living person. Fritz also drank the blood of the victims.
The killer did not send a single woman to the other world, as he disdained to drink their life juices, considering the opposite sex to be vicious and filled with venereal sores.
Haarmann's permanent lover appeared in 1919, and Hans Grans became him. He also helped the killer commit his crimes. Hans suggested introducing human flesh into their exclusive sausage recipes, which were prepared in the fiend's shop. Also, human meat was sold to restaurants, under the guise of beef.
For five years, Fritz had chosen his victims solely at Hans ' request, and not just because of the meat. There could be cases where Haarmann's lover liked the victim's clothing — for example, a shirt or trousers.
In the summer of 1924, Fritz attempted to force a tramp named Fromm into his shop. But the guy did not give in to persuasion, as rumors had already spread that beggars had begun to disappear.
Due to the fact that Fromm resisted, a police squad arrived at the station and both participants of the incident were taken to the police station. It didn't even help the monster that he was cooperating with the police. The beggar without a doubt made a statement that the man brazenly clung to him and asked the police to pay attention to how many people disappear at train stations.
The tramp was listened to and Haarmann remained in the cell until the circumstances were clarified. When the police arrived at the killer's shop, they found his lover there, butchering the body of one of the victims. There were also many remains of human bodies.
After Haarmann was finally locked up in prison, many things of the missing guys were found in his home — they were identified by the relatives of the victims. All of Hans ' clothes belonged to the guys he tortured.
At the trial, the killer said that his victims were 24 people, and according to the police, their number was 27 people. All the victims were no more than 22 years old, he killed them by biting them in the neck and then dismembering the body.
The verdict was unequivocal-the guillotine. Haarmann was informed of this on the nineteenth of December, 1924. At first, the killer was shocked, and then he started laughing.
He was executed at 6 a.m. on April 15, 1925, in Hanover Prison.
The remains of the young men killed by Fritz Haarmann were buried in a common grave, as it was not possible to determine who exactly they belonged to. A monument with the names of the victims was erected at the burial site.
