Fragments of old France: abandoned buildings of incredible beauty

Buildings abandoned by people and overgrown with the past always attract with their unique aura, be it France, Russia or any other country. 30-year-old Dutchman Roman Robroek specializes in shooting mysterious abandoned places filled with a unique flavor.

During his career as a photographer, Roman has visited more than five hundred abandoned places. Recently, he presented to the public a series of pictures of abandoned buildings in France. He worked on this project for five years and photographed buildings of various purposes — from old houses to churches and castles.
