All because he was miraculously able to get out of a lot of scrapes. He fell from a plane, got into an accident, hung on the edge of a cliff, holding on to one tree, almost drowned in an icy river... and that's not all!
And Frane Selak won 600 thousand pounds (more than 50 million rubles) in the lottery. You can learn more about this unique person in our article.
Frane Selak (Frane Selak) - a simple Croatian music teacher, who, apparently, was lucky enough to be born in a shirt of steel. After all, he had narrowly escaped death seven times! And in 2002, for the evil of all envious people, he won 600 thousand pounds in the lottery. However, the fact that he is very lucky, you have already realized. Now let's tell the story of his life in more detail.
The first accident occurred with Frane in 1962. The man was traveling on a train from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik when it suddenly derailed and fell into an icy river. As a result of the tragedy, 17 people were killed, but Frana managed to get out and get off with bruises, hypothermia and a broken arm.
In 1963, Frane fell out of a DC-8 plane between Zagreb and Rijeka. During the flight, the emergency door suddenly opened. As a result, 19 people were killed, but Selak miraculously managed to survive – he landed on a haystack! After this incident, he was left with a slight shock, several bruises and minor scratches.
Three years later, the bus in which Selak was traveling to the city of Split tilted and fell into the river. Once again, our lucky guy managed to get out of trouble-he swam safely to shore and escaped with minor injuries.
In 1970, Horvath was again in trouble. As he was driving along the highway in his car, the car suddenly caught fire. Frane managed to get out of the car a few seconds before the explosion.
In 1973, Selak was fixing a car when a leaky fuel pump sprayed gasoline directly onto the hot engine and fanned the flames through the breather. This could have had tragic consequences for the Croat, but fortune smiled on him again. As a result, the man lost his hair, but remained alive.
In the next few decades, problems sidestepped Selak, but in 1995, he again had to use his talent to get out of trouble. On one of the streets of his hometown, the Croat was hit by a school bus. Then he escaped with a fright and minor bruises.
Less than a year later, one of the most amazing stories happened to the Croat! Selak was driving his car in the mountains when he saw a UN truck coming straight at him. The man abruptly turned the steering wheel, causing the car to crash into the road barrier and break through it.
So his "Skoda" hung on the edge of a cliff with a height of 90 meters and Selak with it. Fortunately, in the last seconds, he managed to get out and watch from above as his car explodes, hitting the ground.
After that, Horvath did not have any more accidents (at least, he did not tell about it). But Selak was waiting for a huge surprise in 2002 – he won the lottery 600 thousand pounds (almost 50 million rubles).
It was probably a moral compensation from the universe for what had happened to him in the past. However, Selak did not use the money and distributed it to his family and friends. According to the man, money is not the main thing. And we absolutely agree with him!
What do you think about this? What will you choose: an endless supply of money or luck in all things?
