In April 2016, a group of American dog handlers came to Jordan to check the condition of service dogs. The report notes that the mortality rate of animals is very high, they lack medical care, dogs live in terrible conditions and lose the desire to carry out their service. Despite this, the dogs continued to be sent to Jordan, and the program was funded further.
