Photographer Navid Baraty has unveiled stunning bird's-eye shots of vibrant New York City. In order to capture a busy New York or Tokyo, Nevid has to literally hover over the edge. “I just lean in so that I feel comfortable while shooting. I'm more worried about the possibility of my camera falling. But to prevent this from happening, I tie it to my hand, ”said the photographer.

Thanks to the work of the photographer, we have a unique opportunity to look at the Big Apple from the height of skyscrapers. “I believe that the rhythm of New York can only be appreciated by looking from a great height: a constant stream of taxis, switching traffic lights, waves of pedestrians crossing the road, the sound of sirens…” says the author of urban photographs Baraty.

Navid Baraty himself was born and raised in rural Ohio, USA. Feeling drawn to photography, he quit his boring job as an engineer and moved permanently to majestic New York. Nevid found his calling in the genre of documentary and landscape photography. His work has been published in such large and well-known publications as Men's Journal, National Geographic, CBS New York, San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Magazine, WNYC, The Huffington Post.
