Very generous step for the third visited Museum in the world.
Now, if you want to use images for commercial or artistic purposes, you do not need to worry about copyright infringement — and in the collection of the Metropolitan is a place to roam, art lovers, because it has more than half a million artifacts.
To date, there have been digitized over 400 works of art in different genres. The collection includes ancient and modern art, painting, photography, sculpture, historical documents, dresses and even furniture. Users can search by their works by author name, creation time or materials used.
