Disneyland on its opening day in 1955

Categories: History

On July 17, 1955, Walt Disney's dream of turning into reality the amazing worlds created by his imagination finally came true - the first Disneyland opened its doors on this day. The park was built on 160 acres of a former orange grove in Anaheim, California, and cost $17 million. It is not surprising that he looked completely different from how we used to imagine him today. It is especially interesting to see how happy and at the same time calm the creator himself is, clearly enjoying the moment, despite the inevitable excitement and stress.
