Modern sculpture cannot be compared with the works of the old classical schools. The masters of the 21st century are boldly experimenting with shape, style, size and even sounds. A striking representative of the creator of the new formation can be considered a sculptor and artist from South Africa Daniel Popper (Daniel Popper).
Nowadays it is very difficult to find something of your own, unique and "catchy" to the viewer, but Popper did it. The artist has become world-famous for his fantastic audiovisual sculptures, with which he decorates the most famous festivals and carnivals of the planet.
Daniel Popper creates huge figures using simple and eco—friendly materials - wood, vine, hay, jute ropes and ropes, cardboard, stone and plants, both cut and live. Work on each figure takes a lot of time, so the sculptor works with assistants. Even in this case, the creative process can last 2-3 weeks. At the same time, alas, the master's works are short-lived and after the end of the holiday they are quickly destroyed by moisture, wind or as a result of human actions.

But this does not bother Popper — he even finds some symbolism in it. His beautiful figures, unique and striking, remain in the memory of the festival guests and in thousands of photographs that travel to different parts of the world and surprise people for a very long time after their disappearance from the face of the earth.
