A state of emergency is in effect throughout the country. In Prague, the population is being evacuated, the metro is not working, schools and kindergartens are closed. Tourists are urged not to leave the territory of the hotels. Reports of severe flooding also come from other European countries.

1. A state of emergency has been declared in the Czech Republic due to floods that hit several cities in the country, including Prague. In the capital of the Czech Republic, the evacuation of the population from flooded areas continues. Eight metro stations are closed in the city, local media report the first victims of the disaster. In particular, in Trebenica, a man and a woman died as a result of the collapse of a house caused by flooding. Four athletes are considered missing.
2. On Monday night, the Vltava River passed 2,000 cubic meters of water per second, and forecasts for the near future are disappointing. Showers are expected to continue on Monday and Tuesday.
3. In the suburbs of Prague, a stream of water demolished a private residential building. There were two residents inside, and it was not possible to save them. In total, more than 10 people were injured, and several more are missing.
