Today the reserve area of 300 acres is home to more than two hundred endangered species of plants and animals including the Indian elephant and Bengal tiger.
"When we bought this land, it was abandoned, — said Pamela. — Abandoned rice fields, coffee plantations and cardamom fields. The place for the most part have obezbedile. And then, to restore nature, we took dozens of years and a lot of forces."
In that part of India which is a nature reserve, the level of forest cover from the 1970s with 86% reduced to 16%.
According to Pamela, this happens not only with them but also throughout the South of India.
Spouse Malhotra re-connect the animals and nature, restoring the forest, where you can return their inhabitants.
"Now it is alive and awash in the sounds".
