Initially, Brisbane residents met on Facebook based on a common interest in underwear design. As you know, underwear is worn not only for hygiene, but also to decorate a woman's body. Any female body. It was this idea that united a group of women of completely different ages and professions.
Girls promote the idea of body positive — love for the human body and acceptance of its individual beauty, regardless of weight and size. Usually underwear is advertised by ideal young beauties with slender bodies, but in reality women come in a variety of ages, sizes and physiques.
Australians have launched a social photo project celebrating the beauty of the female body without Photoshop.
The girls called their epic photoshoot, which preaches the idea of body positivism, "Glitter Extravaganza". Australian activists have already held similar events twice.
Such a "costume" and a complete rejection of retouching the appearance in the photo, the girls chose to declare: the female body is beautiful in itself, regardless of height, weight and complexion.
Beauty is in diversity. And instead of an eternal escape from complexes, women should just support each other.
And what do you think about such photo experiments?
