A funny case, which even British publications wrote about: on Sakhalin, a charming 20-year-old brunette won the contest for the best photo in underwear, who eventually turned out to be ... a man! And the name of the beauty is Andrey Nagorny.

At the end of last year, the Avocado underwear store chain from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk announced a contest, according to the rules of which it was necessary to send several photos in a beautiful bra and panties. Andrei Nagorny, a student of the Sakhalin University journalism Faculty, decided to participate, took professional erotic photos and sent four of the most successful pictures to the organizers. To participate in the competition, the student used the network alias Mirana1996. As Andrey admits now, he did not expect to win at all.

The guy was very surprised when the jury awarded the first place and the title of "Miss Avocado 2016" to him. As a prize, Andrey was offered to take part in a professional photo shoot. At this stage, it was pointless to continue hiding behind the nickname Mirana1996, so Andrey revealed his cards. But after learning that the winner of the underwear contest was a man, the organizers generally crossed him off the list of contenders for victory.

This is how Zhanna Stolpovskaya, the manager of the Avocado chain of stores, explained the jury's decision: "This boy was very similar to a girl. And since the photo could be uploaded freely, he also took part. We got the pictures. And according to the results of the jury's choice, he won, he was chosen. But when we called him and found out that he was a guy, we decided that he could not be a winner."

Andrey himself was not particularly upset, answering the organizers that it was fun for him to participate in the competition. He asked to be given at least a certificate, but the organizers ignored this request.

Now a student can sue the Avocado chain for gender discrimination. After all, not only girls are discriminated against, and the jury of the competition had to immediately announce their gender requirements, then there would be no misunderstanding.

But it is unlikely that Andrey will do this, because thanks to this occasion he became famous all over the world: even Western online publications wrote about him.

The young man successfully combines the characteristics of a man and a woman. For example, Andrey often wears women's clothes and uses makeup, watches manicure.

His Instagram page is titled: "Art model in Russia", periodically he posts pictures from various photo shoots there.
