Brilliant: how a bald girl stopped being shy and turned into a star

For many men, with age, the hair loses its former density. And sometimes bald spots appear even in teenagers. After being nervous for a while, guys usually just stop paying attention to it. But for girls, the diagnosis of "alopecia" sounds much more scary. Swedish Theresa Hansson from the city of Malmo lost almost all her hair at the age of 14. And, of course, she was terribly depressed.

It was impossible to come to terms with such an extravagant appearance, especially at such an age. Teresa bought a high-quality wig and was very afraid that one of her classmates would find out that it wasn't real hair.

"At first, no one was aware, except relatives," the girl says. — Then I opened up to my closest friends, making them promise that no one would find out about the wig. I was good at hiding my bald spot from everyone, but as soon as someone in the company raised the topic of hair, I immediately began to get very nervous."

Over time, thanks to the support of her loved ones, Teresa decided to take off her wig. "The first walk down the street with a bald head was very emotional. I felt relieved and proud of my courage. Besides, I wasn't alone. I met a girl on Facebook who has the same problem, and we walked around the city together without wigs."

The decision to give up the wig turned out to be an unexpected benefit for Teresa. As it turned out, the lack of hair not only does not prevent you from making a modeling career, but on the contrary. Photos of Teresa with catchy makeup and bare head have become a hit on Swedish Instagram, and now she is often called to shoot glossy magazines.
