Bill Bernstein captures the last days of disco

But they can't. It's just lucky that there are people like Bill Bernstein who can capture all these club stories with a camera.
Bill Bernstein documented New York clubbing in the late 70s, and his photographs show that clubs are primarily a place of refuge and a sense of belonging to a certain culture and community.
Bernstein has photographed locations such as Studio 54, Paradise Garage, Fire Ireland, and small discos in Brooklyn and Harlem. All these clubs played disco back then!
