They say that former drug addicts do not exist, but this girl here for 13 years proves the opposite. The photo on the left she is only 19, and by the time she was an active drug addict, drank, smoked and stole.

Caroline best a long time was using crack and heroin and spent 15 years in prison because of numerous thefts. But a year ago, 36-year-old American said that her life hangs in the balance because of serious heart problems. The doctors said that Caroline is in need of immediate surgery, but operating on the girl, while she uses, they could not.

Then the American took an intensive treatment program in a rehabilitation center. August 27 marks exactly a year since the girl refused from drugs. 26-year-old Dey Hall from Arizona, started using drugs when friends during a barbecue once asked her to "try" some sort of laughing matter. But this harmless fun turned to girls serious health problems, because since then, DEA strung out on methadone and later heroin.

Now American 4 years sober.

Brooke admitted that they had tried to quit about 12 times, but always broke. She is now totally "clean" for 8 months and is determined to win over drugs.

The guy asked for help from friends and relatives. Now 84 days he is sober and amazed at how much improved his life.

No one believed she could. And now celebrates a year without drugs.

Most addicts end their life at a young age, but even those who deal with addiction are unable to avoid terrible consequences from drinking — degeneration of the individual, internal injuries, altered mental status and other things.
