In urban life, as in sports, you can be passionate, joyful and persistent.

Resilient New York photographer Jordan Matter once again surprised the world with his new photo project. His previous grand vision, “Dancers Among Us,” which we wrote about earlier, was a resounding success, inspiring the photographer to create a series of photographs that will once again turn our understanding of everyday reality.

Meet - "Athletes Among Us" - a project that demonstrates that even when athletes are not competing, their lives are full of genuine passion and energy. According to the photographer, the project is largely inspired by memories from his childhood - the clumsy red-haired boy often became the object of ridicule, and only playing baseball and the spirit of the competition helped Jordan to become self-confident.

Athletes Among Us is not about sports, but about the importance of achieving your goals, striving for excellence and never giving up. Whichever path you choose.
