On one of the Hawaiian islands, namely Maui, there are many interesting places for tourists and natural attractions. The most popular is Honokohau Falls. This is an amazing and picturesque place: the water here falls from a height of more than a hundred meters and falls into a neat depression to continue its run. Honokohau Falls became famous due to the filming of the film Jurassic Park, which took place in these places: the waterfall fell into one of the scenes of the movie and interested many viewers with its beauty. This place is surrounded by greenery, and everywhere here you can feel the spirit of free, wild nature.

1. Mount Waialeale is a volcanic crater and the second highest point on the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. Kauai is the oldest island in the Hawaiian chain. The top of Vaialeale is located in the very center of the island massif, showing a mute evidence of a difficult birth.

2. The summit is one of the wettest places on Earth. On average, 11,500 mm of precipitation falls here annually. All this moisture flows down from a height of 1500 meters and forms numerous streams. One place on these slopes, where there are most of them, was called the “Wailing Wall”.

3. This is the highest waterfall on the island and to get to it, you need to go on a helicopter tour: an ordinary tourist cannot get to it by car or on foot - the area is too difficult to travel.

6. Over time, the continuous flow of water has given rise to a number of remarkable phenomena such as the gorge in Waimea - the Hawaiian "Small Grand Canyon". The Waialeale Spillway also fills a labyrinth of streams that run towards the plain through numerous cascades of waterfalls and eventually form the only navigable rivers of the Hawaiian Islands: Waimea, Wailua, Makaveli and Hanapepe.
