"As soon as you finish, vote for Jokke": a Danish politician is campaigning on PornHub

Politicians are very resourceful people, especially when it comes to preparing for the upcoming elections. It seems that it is already difficult to penetrate modern voters with something, but some unique people still manage to do it. The candidate for the Danish parliament from the Liberal Alliance party, Joachim B. Olsen, for example, is looking for a way to his voters not through the heart, and not through the stomach, but getting to them from a completely different side.

Joachim Olsen, nicknamed Jokke, managed to try himself in a variety of activities — he was a track and field athlete, entrepreneur and even a professional poker player. Now he is going into politics and has placed his advertising not anywhere, but on the "adult" PornHub site.

It may seem that the former shot putter is shocking the public and simply creates a reputation of a scandalous type. But this is not the case at all, and advertising on a porn service is not a consequence of Jokke's adventurism, but a well—thought-out move. In an interview with The Copenhagen Post , Joachim Olsen said the following:

There is very little time left before the parliamentary elections, which will be held on June 5, and Joachim thinks that thanks to the idea of a porn service, he will be able to capture the widest possible audience. In addition, the politician believes, not without reason, that by making an extraordinary move, he will be able to be remembered by voters.

Although in our opinion Olsen, nicknamed Jokke, is already quite a bright, memorable personality. Joachim's achievements include his successful participation in the Danish version of the TV show "Dancing with the Stars", silver in the shot put at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 and the absolute Danish record in this sport of 21.61 m.

After political advertising on PornHub, Jokke certainly won't get lost among an army of parliamentary candidates. Despite the funny election campaign, the goals of Olsen and his "Liberal Alliance" are quite serious and good. Among the tasks set by the candidate, making his way to the country's parliament, it is worth noting the following points: tax cuts, increasing the number of civil liberties, fighting bureaucracy, helping the homeless.

In addition, Olsen claims that one of the most important goals of his future work in parliament, he sees the creation of a competent legislative framework on environmental issues in Denmark. By the way, it should be said separately that other members of the Liberal Alliance were not warned about the appearance on one of the most popular porn sites in the world of a fellow party member with the slogan "As soon as you finish, vote for Jokke", and their reaction is still unknown.

However, it cannot be said that Joachim was too original. In 2018, the Georgian presidential candidate from the Girchi party, Zurab Japaridze, also posted appeals to voters on PornHub, designating them as banners with the text "I do not promise to increase the size!" and "More sex, more freedom". This, by the way, did not help him and he finished only sixth in the presidential race.
