The Danish "Garden City", or What a proper gardening partnership should look like

Such a place can be called the village of Brøndby Haveby ("City of Gardens"), located near the Danish capital Copenhagen.
Danish villages are always very nice, neat and cozy, but they are all depressingly similar to each other. But the commune "City of Gardens" no one will accuse of a template-the village can claim the title of the most unusual settlement in the country, and maybe the whole of Europe.
When you enter the "City of Gardens" from the highway, its layout can seem chaotic. But this is only at first glance, because after a few minutes you realize how ingeniously it is arranged. To appreciate all the advantages of Brøndby Haveby, you need to live here for a while or ... rise above the village in the air.
From above, it becomes clear that the entire territory of the settlement is divided into circles-blocks, to which access roads-"stems" - stretch from the main roads. Each circle is divided into sectors, like a giant pizza, and each of these slices is a courtyard, the gates of which overlook the central square with parking for all residents of the block.
Each plot with a house has a solid area by European standards and their owners dispose of their land as they see fit. Someone builds a large house with a terrace and a garden, and someone arranges a vegetable garden or pasture. But all these plots have one thing in common — they are cut off from the hustle and bustle and provide their owners with maximum peace and pleasant communication with their neighbors.
This unique commune was created as an experiment to increase the social interaction of people engaged in gardens and vegetable gardens. Apparently, the experience was an excellent success, because no site is empty. The layout of each circle promotes communication between neighbors, but at the same time does not exclude privacy. All the plots are separated from each other by green fences, through which it is not easy to see what is happening at the neighbor.
However, to be honest, many property owners in this amazing place still prefer to live in apartments, in noisy and bustling Copenhagen, and to visit their round villages on weekends and during summer holidays.
And it all started back in 1964 like this, on a huge dusty wasteland with dirt roads and temporary booths. Then it did not bother anyone, because if a person wants to live in decent conditions, then even from a public toilet will make a palace.
