An omelet with mold, rotten apples and raw chicken — what else is fed in the British army

Napoleon once said that the people who do not want to feed their army will soon be forced to feed someone else's. Well, in this case, the British army will definitely feed someone, since recently numerous photos of food that recruits are fed began to appear on the Internet. Rank and file across the UK unite and share footage of so-called food in the hope of drawing the attention of the British Ministry of Defense to the problem.

Recruits post photos with larvae in tomatoes, raw chicken and eggs with mold on Facebook. An online petition with 10,000 signatures has even been submitted to Parliament calling for an investigation into the quality of food served to the military. In turn, the Sodexo food supply company, to which the charges are directed, states that it is impossible to conduct an investigation, since it is unknown who, when and where took these photos. And if the servicemen are dissatisfied with the quality of food, then let them go directly to the place where the products were bought.

The petition also says that the government spends significantly less on one soldier than on the same criminal, and that the state should be ashamed of such an inadequate use of taxpayers' money.
