John Weller is an American documentary photographer based in Boulder, Colorado. He studied economics and philosophy at Stanford University, but in 1999 he took up photography professionally. After publishing the first book on the Great Sand Dunes National Park in 2004, he focused on filming the Ross Sea in Antarctica. In 2009, he received a Pew Fellowships in the Arts fellowship to work on the Last Ocean environmental conservation project.
