One of my favorite places in Moscow was Novy Arbat or Kalininsky Prospekt. Probably, today it is funny, but for some it is not at all clear, but then it was Kalininsky for me (probably not only) that was such a piece of the future, a reference fragment of a modern city. It was a "piece of the West", if you like ... "

On the one hand, it was puzzling why it was necessary to leave some kind of church at all, but on the other hand, it emphasized the grandeur and scale of the transformations.
