A Russian woman tried to kill a Ukrainian woman with a cheesecake to "steal" her identity

Criminals, moving towards their intended goal, are very resourceful. Recently, a Russian citizen who tried to kill a Ukrainian woman was tried in the United States. She wanted to take possession of her victim's documents and start a new life under a false name. At first glance, it seems absurd, but if you consider that women are very similar, then everything falls into place.

This strange case happened in 2016. Russian Victoria Nasirova treated her cosmetologist Ukrainian Olga Tsvik with a poisoned dessert. It was a cheesecake, to which the criminal added a huge portion of sedative. It seemed to the poisoner that her idea was a success. But the victim managed to miraculously survive.

Before she completely blacked out, Zwick saw that the guest was walking around the room and rummaging through her things. The woman was found unconscious the next day. She was lying on the floor, and there were packages of medicines scattered around. It was like Olga decided to take her own life and swallowed pills. Doctors were able to save the life of a Ukrainian woman, but she had to spend a lot of time in the clinic.

When Olga Tsvik came out of the hospital, she realized that her Ukrainian passport had been stolen. Some jewelry and $4,000 (275.4 thousand rubles) were also missing. Victoria Nasirova, who is now 47 years old, was sure that her idea was a success. Police experts found a huge dose of phenazepam in the remains of the cheesecake, which would have been enough for fatal poisoning. Nasirova scattered the same pills on the floor to confuse the investigation.

Nasirova was taken over by the idea of stealing someone else's identity and starting life "from scratch" for a reason. The woman had serious problems with the law both at home and in the USA. In Russia, she was wanted for the murder and robbery of a neighbor. In a foreign country, she came to the attention of the police several times due to the fact that she stole men from dating sites. Also, during the search, the police found a significant amount of drugs at her home.

Now the poisoner has nothing to worry about — she is waiting for a calm and well-fed old age in one of the American prisons. The trial of Nasirova has not yet ended, but according to preliminary information, the woman is already waiting for a 25-year sentence for attempted murder and robbery. Most likely, she will be "added" for several more years for a home warehouse with prohibited substances.
