Suehiro Maruo is one of the godfathers of Japanese illustration. It is impossible to compare him with the animator Hayao Miyazaki: his drawings are from another book, an underground book hidden from most. Many of his works are banned in Japan, little has been published, but Suehiro Maruo is still considered a cult and enjoys great popularity among fans of the manga genre.

Maruo's illustrations are very graphic and frank, grotesque and sometimes cruel, but the flight of his imagination is amazing. In front of you are not at all children's drawings by a Japanese illustrator, which give goosebumps.
