They met while performing roles in a pantomime based on "Snow White". Their son Nathan Jr. is now two years old, but initially doctors told his parents that the child would not survive because he had two forms of dwarfism.
Both Laura and Nathan say with one voice that this significant day once again confirms how confident they feel no matter what.

Laura's height is 127 centimeters, Nathan's height is only 119 centimeters. Newlyweds suffer from dwarfism, but from its different forms. Laura has achondroplasia, a disease that leads to dwarfism through underdevelopment of long bones. In Nathan, pseudoachondroplasia is a disease that occurs with bone damage and is accompanied by pronounced dwarfism with shortened limbs.
Their son, Nathan Jr., was born, unfortunately, with both of these diseases, and doctors initially claimed that the baby was unlikely to last longer than a few hours. However, he survived and even played the role of a page at his parents' wedding.
About 50 of their relatives and friends gathered at the wedding of Nathan and Laura, which took place at the luxurious South Causey Inn hotel. Laura walked down the aisle in a beautiful dress worth a thousand dollars.
"We met when we were playing roles in the production of "Snow White": I was a Sneezer, and Nathan was a Grouch. It was amazing, because our life together began with a fairy tale, and now our ceremony has become fabulous," says Laura, who, by the way, is a professional entertainer.
"We have been waiting for the opportunity to get married for so long: little Nathan had to grow up so that he could give us rings. But in the end, the pillow seemed too heavy for him. The kid decided that he didn't want to drag her anymore, and just threw her somewhere to the side. It was very funny to take him to the wedding, he brought his own zest to the ceremony," Nathan said.
The story related to how the marriage proposal was made deserves special attention. "After I realized that Nathan was going to propose to me, I decided to get ahead of him and take the initiative. I found out that Nathan was visiting my father to ask his permission. I was so worried, and do you know what the scariest thing is? Whenever I get nervous, I start laughing strangely. But the last thing I wanted then was for Nathan to ask me for his hand in marriage, and I would burst out laughing villainously in his face. That would be terrible. So I beat him to it and asked him to marry me. He was a little taken aback, but agreed. And a month later I found out that I was pregnant," Laura recalls.
"The doctors tried to persuade me to have an abortion, they said that the child would not last long. I was confused. But I still firmly decided that I had to give Nathan Jr. a life. My husband and I fell in love with him at first sight!" — shared Laura.
