2. Do not sit on the doorstep so that evil spirits do not take the child.
Indeed, it is better not to sit on the threshold. And on no other similar surface. And the point here is not in the perfume but in the weak immune system of the expectant mother.
3. If you eat red fruits and berries, your baby will have pink cheeks.
Any red fruits and berries are allergens. But their intake during pregnancy has different opinions. Russian traditional medicine is against their consumption, while Western medicine is against it. It is also believed that if the mother ate certain foods during pregnancy, then the child will not be allergic to them. Indeed, it is difficult to give up fruit when almost all other dishes have toxicosis
4. If you watch scary movies, the child will become ugly.
The faint of heart and pregnant women should not look. You have probably seen such a warning, and it has its own reasons. Hormonal changes in the expectant mother make her sensitive to everything and excess stress can disrupt blood flow. Therefore, leave the horror films for another time.
5. Do not sit cross-legged so that the child does not have crooked legs.
Especially relevant advice for those expecting girls. In fact, crossed legs disrupt blood flow and can cause varicose veins.
6. If you sleep on your back, the baby may suffocate.
Sleeping on your back, especially in late pregnancy, can compress the inferior vena cava. If the expectant mother regularly sleeps in this position, then she may experience weakness, lack of oxygen, and dizziness, and the child may develop hypoxia.
7. If you hang laundry, the baby may become entangled in the umbilical cord.
It's not that hanging your laundry can hurt you, but raising both hands. If you pick them up for a short period of time, nothing bad will happen. However, if you do this for a long time, then the tone of the uterus may increase. This can be dangerous for pregnancy.
