1. Gyeongseong Creature (Part 2)

The first part of this brilliant series premiered just recently, on December 22nd, and now we can watch part 2. The sinister Gyeongseong Creature, born of greed, maybe asserting its power, but our brave heroes still have some clever tricks up their sleeves. For a series with real scares, but also real heart and soul, check this out. The writing, acting, and effects are top-notch, and South Korea is once again setting the bar high for intelligent horror.
2. Doctor Slump

As far as medical dramas go, this one stands out as it focuses on two young doctors who decide to quit their jobs. Both suffer terrible accidents and begin to question everything, leading to inevitable feelings of loss of purpose and direction. Despite the heavy subject matter, this is a show that manages to feel light and refreshing, thanks to the wonderfully vivid performances of the two leads. For a show that will make you laugh and think at the same time, check this out.
3. Great Problem Solver
Release date 31 January 2024
This upcoming legal K-drama is shrouded in mystery. It has been confirmed as coming to Netflix in 2024, but despite multiple sources mentioning the above release date, nothing is set in stone. What is known is that it stars Lee Ji-ah (from The Penthouse: War on Life, The Ghost Detective, and Pandora: Beneath the Paradise) and Kang Ki-young (of Extraordinary Attorney Woo) as the leads, and the series is directed by Park Jin-suk (Sell Your Haunted House). The screenwriter is a newcomer Jung Hee-sun. The plot is a closely guarded secret, and we hope to see some teasers by the release date.
4. My Demon (new episodes)
Release date 5 January 2024
Fans of this show are hooked on this supernatural love story. A wealthy brat and a demon who has temporarily lost his powers develop feelings for each other, and it is so cleverly written and beautifully acted that you cannot help but be swept away by the story.
While the first season was technically split into two parts, Netflix is still releasing two episodes each week without making us wait. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and watch it today.
5. Like Flowers in Sand (new episodes)
Release date 5 January 2024
This coming-of-age romantic comedy just premiered on Netflix, so you have time to catch up on what you missed. A young man is thinking of retiring from ssireum (Korean wrestling), but when his old friend becomes the manager of his team, he is persuaded to continue. This show is sweet, and funny, and gives you a unique look into the world of Korean wrestling.
