5. Ghost Rider

Trust us, we mean it when we say it: we’ll never forget Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider. The rest of the world has successfully forgotten him, though, and this just won’t do: we need the Spirit of Vengeance back on the big screen, and we need it now. Bring Cage back in if he’ll agree or reboot the franchise entirely — but it’s time for Ghost Rider to join the darker side of the MCU again.

4. Fantastic Four

Boy oh boy, has this superhero team been through some tough times…during the past 30 or so years, that is. Every single live-action adaptation of Fantastic Four turned out less than spectacular, to put it mildly. Thankfully, there’s already a new FF movie coming up in 2025, and since it will be directed by WandaVision’s Matt Shankman, we expect nothing but greatness.

3. Green Lantern

Don’t even get us started on the glorified background greenscreen for “normal” superheroes that the Green Lanterns were turned into in recent years! Ever since the embarrassment of Ryan Reynolds’s movie, DC has given up on these guys — but once again, we already know that James Gunn’s got this. He’s even cast the brilliant Nathan Fillion already!

2. John Constantine

We get it, Matt Ryan was really good as Constantine, but we would love nothing else more than seeing Keanu Reeves reprise his iconic (even though reasonably questionable) role. Since the new DC Universe is about to rise, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring John Constantine back in…and we’re convinced that the movie will be fire if they get Keanu back.

1. X-Men

Another superhero crew that was done dirty over and over again, the X-Men deserve better. Seeing how Marvel is having issues with restoring its former, pre-Endgame glory these days, trying to liven things up with a new version of the X-Men seems only natural… They will just have to deal with incredibly low expectations for the audience after the previous failures, that’s all.
